This song is by far no.1 on my list of favorites. The emergence of the Fugees in 1996 marked a new appreciation of music for me… where soul, reggae and jazz were fused together to form musical poetry, sitting on top of a canvas inspired by creativity and love.

Though this song is a sing over and versions of this song are all over the place, Fugees got it right.

Week - December 27th to January 3rd 2010

It is the last chune of the week for December and 2009, so it is only right that we “men” big up our balancing counterparts “women”, for the support, comfort, strength and seeing us through 2009 and into 2010 amongst other things.

So ladies genuflect, big up yourselves and wear the role of that “QUEEN” proudly

This chune was chosen from the option of introspection. The idea behind this feature is to simply forget the unwanted haunting past, the unpredictable non existing future and enjoy life’s events as it happens by embracing the NOW, taking note of the unseen highlights.

So “FORGET YOUR TROUBLES AND HOL A VIBEZ".
